Well, I’ve got a few days to catch up on, so here we go:
  • Thursday – Spent it in Guildford spending my book tokens. It’s amazing what you can get if you shop around; A great big stack of novels, non-fiction, graphic novels. Very pleased. In the evening Penny and I went to see Miss Saigon in Woking, which was very good.
  • Friday – A day of travel. Ten hours door to door. Still, I got a lot of reading done, it was entirely stress-free and I’ve done the route so many times, it’s like taking an extended bus journey, just with leg room.
  • Saturday - Apparently a day of rest. Not bloody likely! A 15km cycle ride and a trip to the fairground, where I succeeded at not vomiting.

More to come soon!

  1. Funny. Someone who works here that I was on the train with on Friday went to see Miss Saigon at Woking as well last week.
    He didn’t like it.
