So it’s my last day here at work. A day of looking somewhat busy, while avoiding as much stress as possible. I’ve brought in cakes and biscuits and I’ll probably eat most of them myself, as my colleagues seem to be too polite to eat them. Very strange.
So later on today will be my surprise leaving presentation where my boss (who thinks he has a great sense of humour but is very mistaken) will be a short speech and I’ll receive my card and my leaving gift. I pray for vouchers… I don’t trust that anyone in this company knows me well enough to buy me a gift I’d actually like and the only usual other alternative is “humourous” tat that will be amusing for about 30 seconds.
Dinner with Beth last night was okay, she has actually agreed that she never gave me the money that she was to give me for the bed and she’s going to give it to me! As well as a few other bits and pieces that she had neglected to mention that she had and I had assumed were lost in some move! Result!

Still ridiculously busy, so it’s back to bullet points!
- Apparently people have realised I’m leaving the company, so there’s a panicked “Oh my god, you must finish this/answer this/explain this! (delete as applicable)”.
- It looks like I may be meeting Beth for dinner tonight. Assuming my headache doesn’t get any worse. Which has just saved me another bullet point.
- Finished watching ‘Identity‘ the other night and it truly was an excellent film. Thanks Bryce!
- People are starting to make excuses about not being able to come to my leaving do tomorrow night. Gits.

It’s a very busy day, so this will have to be brief:
- Tonight is Lammas, bring on the bread.
- On top of my current workload and the training of the new student analysts, I now have to train my replacement too. I’m probably expected to do this in my copious spare seconds.
- As has already been commented upon, the weekend was fun, but a little strange.
- The Vampire game itself was as chaotic as it could be. I’m hoping that as people get used to their characters that things will settle down. Also, when I go back to my usual Sunday slot, people won’t be completely wasted!
- My new MP3 player has arrived! Yay! It’s a little plasticy, but it’s still very good in terms of functionality and capacity.
- I picked up a copy of Ordo Dracul for Vampire the Requiem. Expect a review on EG later in the week.
Hopefully I can make a less stressed post soon, using less bullet points.
