The same old stories. Officials not knowing the Law and persecuting those they feel are suspicious. A sorry state of affairs. On a lighter note.... well, one a ridiculing the non-normal, I do like the way the Bus Spotter article says at one point; "Mr McCaffery, who is married,..." As if stating in true tabloid journalistic style, that the Man Is Married, to dissuade us from our stereotypes that all nerds (bus & trainspotters included) are all singletons. "No. He is normal... honest! Look. He does have a girlfriend; he's married!" Ahh bless. Constructive journalism- you gotta love it! Mmmm.

He wasn't sure what the Law was at that time so didn't challenge it until afterwards. Hence him then creating the petition and doing the Interview route to raise awareness that there isn't a Law prohibiting photography in public areas, but that many police (& in particular CSOs) thought there was.
